There are many ways to help animals in our care.  Whichever way you choose you will be helping us to reach out to more and more animals, like Tiny Tim.

Tiny Tim a six week old terrier was found terrified and shivering in a toaster box on Christmas Eve.  He was immediately taken to our vets who discovered a serious injury to his right back leg, which, because of the severity had to be amputated.  This little dog was so traumatised there were serious concerns for his survival after the ordeal he had suffered.

Little Tiny Tim amazed us all by making a full recovery.  He has been placed in a loving home with a loving family and is now enjoying holidays by the sea.  How about that for a happy ending – they don’t come much better.  If every story had such an ending. At NASSL we do not put healthy animals to sleep because we want more and more happy endings just like Tiny Tim.  You can help us achieve that aim by various ways of giving.

Legacies

NASSL receives no government funding; we rely on the generosity of our supporters, the kindness of the general public and ourselves.  As an organisation we have always been active in fundraising, never resting on our laurels.  The external support we receive is the icing on the cake and we are more than grateful for that support, indeed it pushes us to be more effective in our work with unwanted and abandoned animals.    Click for more info
